Austin Ayers is a part-time film director and full-time nursing student in the Pittsburgh, PA region. Austin was a first responder and firefighter for 7-years before getting into journalism. After working through several companies, he progressed into his nursing career to become a board licensed RN BSN.

Austin covered numerous large stories throughout the Pennsylvania region, including the “Tree of Life” shooting in Pittsburgh, Pa. and Groundhog Day coverage in Punxsutawney, Pa. on February 2nd, 2019.

Austin was part of the Seneca Valley TV classes where he learned film production and television news broadcast. Austin is a director and producer from the Pittsburgh-region. He has worked on a short-series of “Survivor Pennsylvania: Pittsburgh”, ’93’, ‘Stringin'”, and Netflix’s “Sweet Girl” as a production assistant.

Film Director for '93'

Austin Ayers is a 21-year-old film director and nursing student from the Greater Pittsburgh Area. He attended Seneca Valley High School. He is directing the new '93' movie, which will showcase the heroes of Flight 93 in the newest documentary. The film will release in 2021.
